When local teen met Harry, a hot Web site brewed is an article in The Sacramento Bee about FictionAlley, the Harry Potter archive.
Excerpt
Madeline, a 15-year-old student [...], got together with four other fans last June to create FictionAlley.org, "a Web site for Harry Potter fans, by Harry Potter fans," said Madeline, the youngest of the co-founders.
"At first, we were envisioning a small Web site," she said. "But with the message board -- somewhere for members to communicate with each other -- the site got humongous."
Now, FictionAlley.org has 48 moderators and administrators from around the world, and has an average of 168,409 daily visitors who can post their writing and art, talk to fellow fans and receive positive feedback on their work.
