Planned for 2004, Wheels Within Wheels will consist of two story sections: follow-up stories to existing wheels (some of which have already been written such as the Chancellor Jinn/Writer Ben stories continuing Episode 15 by Susan Anthony), and new wheels that no longer fit into the closed story-line, ie: AUs of this wonderful AU. There are already good alternate universe stories out there — writers, would yours benefit by the arrival of Wheel Obi-Wan? Does something need fixing between Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon? Or Xanatos? Bruck? Mace? Check out Mom's Kitchen if you need further inspiration, and email AWIT Press at [email protected] if you have further questions.

First deadline would be December 31st, 2003, although I d love to know sooner if you re planning something so that art can be considered. Artists, we d love to continue with the tradition started in Riding the Wheels of If, and we need your help too.

From the Editorial

There was a time when I despaired of this ever getting done. TPM fandom isn't quite the hotbed of prolific authors it once was, and all of the plans for new spin-offs from the Wheel of If have fallen by the wayside except for Terri s own What Happened Next Sequel. But in pleading with Susan to get one last Jedi Action Hero story out of her (which I did and you'll read it here first), I found that it was pretty much a good thing that none of us were able to finish what we intended as this volume is actually a few pages LONGER than Riding the Wheel of If! Most of the words are Susan but the initial creation all belongs to Mrs. Hamill, who stole the concept from Phillip Jose Farmer.

In addition to the new story, you will find (once again) loads of new art, including an absolutely spectacular new Fuumin, and several pieces by Anne and Lisa.

Will this be the end to Wheels of If? I imagine Terri's sequel will one day see print, and I am certainly open to another anthology if folks want to write their own episodes and what happens nexts.

I hope YOU find reading this as fulfilling as I did in putting it all together. --Sian
