I love this story - there's something so really amazingly right about Livia's Blair that it makes me want to go write something myself, just to see if I can do that, too... Blair Sandburg gets a look at what might have been.[1]
Summary: Blair's accepted the badge offer and is going to the academy, but he has one nagging problem: he can't get his gun holster to fit right. He's too embarrassed to ask Jim to help him and he half-suspects that it's something in his subconscious that's causing the problem.His spirit guide obligingly shows up to lend a hand, but unhelpfully makes Blair dig for his own answers by asking the dreaded question "What do you fear?" And, as with Jim's spirit guide, it won't let Blair get away with any obfuscations.
Reccer's Notes: This is a lovely combination of self-discovery, angst and a chance to look at the path not taken. In canon, only Jim has a spirit guide that helps him figure himself out. I like the idea that Blair's guide would help him during a time of crisis. Enjoy.[2]
