What Happened in the Cave is a trope that is used in Beauty and the Beast (TV) fandom. Fans use it to speculate on a missing scene from the first episode in the third season, "Though Lovers Be Lost" where Catherine brings Vincent back from the brink of madness.
There are certainly other fandoms with other caves involving other pivotal scenes, but the Beauty and the Beast fandom specifically uses this phrase.
