Art

Most of the zine's contents consist of fanart. Artists who contributed fanart to the zine include:

Illustrated Written Pieces

The zine also includes a few short pieces of writing, each of which is illustrated. These include:

Stretch Goals

As a charity zine, We Can Be Heroes had three "stretch goals" to encourage more fans to order the zine (and thus to raise more funds for the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center).[3] All three stretch goals were met.

Silver Foil Cover

The first stretch goal, met after 50 preorders had been placed, was for the zine's cover to be embossed with silver foil.

Tote Bag

The second stretch goal was for 75 preorders and consisted of a Blue Rose tote bag designed by Fia. Fans who purchased the "Good Luck Mode" or "King of Heroes" bundles received the tote bag with their order.

Acrylic Standees

The final stretch goal was for acrylic standees designed by Pika featuring Kotetsu and Barnaby, to be made available after 100 zine preorders. As with the tote bag, these standees were sent to fans who had purchased the "Good Luck Mode" or "King of Heroes" bundles.

We Can Be Heroes was sold with accompanying fan-made merch that could be purchased in one (or more) of several different bundles.[3]
