Wasteland Souls is a single-author zine, a collection of short stories written in the Mad Max: Fury Road universe. The cover was drawn by the artist Kimbureh.[1]
After the Fall, a man named Max roams a world gone mad. Surviving against ruthless fighters, perilous Before-time remains, the harsh, ruined environment itself. Amidst these forces, only the fierce or the fortunate survive. Yet road warriors and outcasts alike search for refuge, connection - even hope.[2]
The zine creator notes, "I put this together partly as a gift/barter item for a group that will be attending the Wasteland Weekend event, and partly because small fandoms need more zines. It's a genfic zine with a wide range of themes and characters in the twenty-two stories. Hopefully it will be 'gateway fic' for some Mad Max fans."
