Vogon Poetry is a kind of poetry, both created and referenced by fans.
The term comes from Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: "Vogon poetry is, of course, the third worst in the universe."
Examples of Use
- "I even liked the Vogon poetry. There must be something about trying to be bad that brings out the best in people. " [1]
- "The weekend started with a nine-hour drive to Columbia, with Margie G. keeping me company by reading me Sentinel fan poetry that made the Vogons look like Yeats; at one point she had to pull my hand away from my face, where I was attempting to gouge out my own eyes in an effort to distract myself from what she was reading. And I was driving!" [2]
