Vivienne, also known as "Madame de Fer," is a companion in Dragon Age: Inquisition. She is written by Mary Kirby, and voiced by Indira Varma.

Pre-Release

Vivienne was one of the first three DAI companions to be revealed, and the first new character. Some people felt Vivienne had too much exposure early on, especially as the companion reveals went through an overhaul and Vivienne was introduced twice. Vivienne is ambitious, political, and fashionable. Some fans think this makes her a fierce HBIC, while others decided that she is vain, arrogant, and unlikeable. Some people also criticize Vivienne for having a shaved head underneath the elaborate hats she is usually seen wearing in promo material. Vivienne, Solas, and Iron Bull make up the "Baldquisition" on the BioWare Forum.

There was some hope that Vivienne would be a love interest, especially since she would be the first unambiguously black LI. [1]
