Victorious is an American sitcom that originally aired on Nickelodeon.

- The series follows Tori Vega, a teenager who is accepted into Hollywood Arts High School (a school for talented teens in various performing-arts fields) after taking her older, much less-talented sister Trina's place in a showcase after Trina has an allergic reaction to a Chinese herb product designed to help make people sing better.

Beck/Jade is the most popular het ship in the fandom, complete with rabidly protective shippers. They hate anyone who gets too close to either Beck or Jade, but Tori bears the brunt of most of their ire despite canon explicitly stating that she has no feelings for Beck. This had led to some backlash among other fans, who believe the "Bade" ship is toxic due to Jade's personality, particularly her attitude towards Beck which fans perceive as abusive and hypocritical. Additionally, Jade/Tori has subplanted Beck/Jade as the most popular ship overall, having twice as many works on AO3 as the latter.
Tori is often shoved together with Andre, whom fans have convinced themselves is madly in love with her despite the show giving no such indications.
Cat/Robbie is a popular pairing, despite Cat showing zero interest in Robbie unless he's going after another girl.
