Vicki McElfresh was a fan, fanwriter, fan editor and publisher most active in the Valdemar fandom. She was active in this fandom for at least seven years, publishing the zine Companion's Rest from 1990 to 1992. In 1997, the editor of the Queen's Own newsletter wrote, "Queen's Own has been welcoming Herald personas since February, 1990. Congratulations, Vicki McElfresh aka Herald Cara. You were a member of our first "class," and are the only one who is still active in QO."[1]
Profic Career
McElfresh has written three ebook novels,[2] and her short stories have appeared in Dragonlaugh, Vision and The Mid-Rivers Review.
