User talk:Introductory

Hello, Introductory! Recently you deleted a quoted review from The Paradox Series--could you explain why? It was the only review listed, and it was a very good one, I thought. I see the post is now locked, but our Fanlore:Citation policy says, If a post is initially public, but later deleted or made private, then screencaps of that material are fine to include as long as nothing in the screencap otherwise violates policy. The key here is the expectation of privacy at the time the initial post was made; if the post was originally open, there was no such expectation, and a retroactive friends-lock/removal doesn't change that. (Forget the screencap bit--same goes for quoting). If there was anything else in that entry that should have been private, I don't remember what it was, and in any case the post is now locked so no one will see it. If you have privacy concerns that you don't want to discuss on a public talk page, you can email the committee. --æþel 18:37, 13 November 2011 (UTC) (Wiki Committee Co-Chair)

Possibly add this deletion to the list? That Thing You Love by introductory (Molly/The Old Spice Guy, humor) Fic was linked as example on http://fanlore.org/wiki/Molly_Hooper. The fic is now locked, so again, not certain of the viability of it all. Hope this helps--MeeDee 03:53, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
