Summary

Ari (who can be found under the name "wisdomeagle" at LiveJournal, InsaneJournal, JournalFen and anywhere else fen congregate), jumped headfirst into Stargate fandom in 2003. She discovered the Buffyverse in 2004 and since then has been cheerfully multifannish. She writes het, boyslash and girlslash but identifies primarily as a girlslasher.

She's notorious for starting projects that she'll never finish and wasting time being daft. Tiny fandoms are her crack, and she wishes it were Yuletide all year round.

Way Too Much Detail

I first encountered fandom and learned the word slash in 2001. The first fandom I read in, in early 2002, was Lord of the Rings (bookverse FPF). The second fandom I read in was Sherlock Holmes (Holmes/Watson).

The third fandom I read extensively in was Stargate SG-1, which was love a true lovematch. SG-1 was also the first fandom I wrote in, progressing quickly from being OTP about Jack/Daniel to writing femslash and Daniel/Sam. On August 1, 2003, I made my first post to a fannish community[1]
