Hey I'm Kailyn. I'm in a ton of fandoms and bandoms and spend way more time on Tumblr than I probably should. I'm just your typical blogger (and I'm using that term very losely) who loves the friendships and adventures that goes along with being in a community of people who enjoy the same thing. I love the sense of unity being in a fandom gives you and the bonds that can be created. There's always more to the story than you originally think, especially when you're talking about people, and I love how I've gotten to know and bond with so many great individuals who are interested in the same things as me. Fannish History

I'm not really sure how I got into my first fandom. Does shipping Disney characters when I was seven count if I didn't know what shipping was back then? I don't really know. I grew up in the generation of watching Buffy on the weekends and reading the new Harry Potter books the week they came out. Somewhere along the way I joined Tumblr not really knowing what it was and now here I am. I'm in way to many fandoms to count now and I wouldn't really want to change that for anything. I've read a ton of fanfiction, but the last time I wrote it I was about 10 and in a really intense Beyblade phase that I'd reather not talk about... I'm thinking about writing it again now that I can actually write decently. I have an ao3, fanfiction.net, wattpad, and live journal account and probably more fanfic accounts than that...

Current Favorites

I'm currently into a ton of things, most notably Marvel. I've always watched Marvel movies and I read the comics as a kid, but ever since I saw X-Men: First Class and The Avengers I've been pretty much obsessed. Just when I didn't think I could become more emotional about Marvel, they threw Captain America: The Winter Solider at me on my birthday. Rude. I'm currently entrapped in a downward spiral of Steve and Bucky feels. I didn't ask to ship this, it just happened. If you were to ask me about the pairing before CA:TWS I probably would've told you that they were my brOTP, but now it's a completely different story. They're probably my favorite ship at the moment, though I never thought anyone would be able to trump Clint and Natasha before them.

On Fanlore

I'd like to contribute to the fandom community and maybe even learn more about some fandoms as well. Who knows, I just might find a new favorite show.
