I think I'll write this in first person otherwise, I feel like I'm playing the part of Bob Dole. Also this is disorganized and kinda random. I'll do a re-write sometime in my life span.

Personal Background

I'm a FTZ agent in my late 20's and I graduated from UNT with a degree in painting and drawing. I have no current plans to pursue art as anything more than an enjoyable pass time and an occasional way to make money.
I gave up my dreams of a professional artist when I realized that I hate drawing for a corporation or movie studio. I much more enjoy drawing for myself and for art show rejection slips.

Fandom Involvement

I've been involved in fandoms since the third grade, starting off as a little Trekkie and carrying on the legacy of my father's heavy involvement in the sci-fi fandom. Star Trek was primarily a convention fandom for me as I was not allowed in the internet.
In 5th grade, I tried out my first internet fandom, Lord of the Rings. That lasted about two weeks before that fandom scared me off and I went back to the offline sci-fi fandom and became involved in Babylon 5 and slowly came to be involve din the anime fandom.

My first major online fandom was Sailor Moon, where I was a member of a various newsgroups for that fandom. However, by 10th grade I'd moved into the Violinist of Hameln. In the VoH fandom, I began seriously pursue fanart as my primary fannish contribution, and my website became a place to host this fanart.

In 2001 I jumped from the Violinist of Hameln fandom to the Harry Potter fandom and sold my soul became heavily active in the fandom as a fanartist. I initially posted mainly to artistically and my own website but quickly turned to primarily posting art on my livejournal.

in 2006 I moved also became active in The A-Team fandom as well as the [Battlestar Galactica]] 1978 fandom. I both fandoms, I primarily draw, however, the BSG 1978 fandom marks my first major attempts at fanfiction sense my early days in the Violinist of Hameln fandom.

Has part of the Harry Potter fandom I currently approve art submissions for Artisticalley was previously an Art Niffler (I recced art), and have spoken at two conventions.
I spoke at the 2006 The Witching Hour convention as part of a group panel on fanart, and gave my own lecture on critiquing art. At the 2008 Portus convention I gave a demonstration on watercolor.

Currently I am running the Hp Art Project, which is a project in which Harry Potter fanartists illustrate canon scenes from the HP novels, which will then be bound in a book and sent to JKR.

Fanart

I'm probably most known for my drawings of the characters Sirius, James, Peter, and Remus from the Harry Potter novels. I'm especially known (or infamous maybe) for paying particular attention to Peter Pettigrew, an unpopular and often overlooked character. But I like him, so I draw him.

My fanart tends toward the figurative with watercolors and copic markers being my media of choice.
