Unit-B Fanfiction Archive is an archive for fanfiction about the HBO television series OZ. Unit-B accepts all OZ slash, het, and gen fanfic, but not RPF.[1] It is an Automated Archive.

What happened to the old Unit B archive that used to be here?

It's still here -- all the stories that have been housed at UnitB in the past have been rolled into the new, redesigned and expanded archive, and tagged with new searchable data.
The main difference between the new OZ Unit B Fanfiction Archive and the old site that was here, is that this redesigned and expanded archive is no longer exclusively for fiction posted to the old (now defunct) Unit-B mailing list. This archive is now open to all OZ fanfiction. You may use the new search functionality to sort out and narrow down the types of stories you wish to see -- by title, author, rating, characters, etc.

The old archive was a member of The Adult Fan-Fiction Ring and the RareSlash Webring. It was listed in the Slash Page Database Project and The Fan Fiction Directory. The page is hosted by Slashcity.

History

In April 2024, it was announced that Unit B and Cellblock 5 would be moving to the Archive of Our Own as an Open Doors Project, along with other related HBO Oz archives.[2]
