And a crying shame this *isn't* how the pregnancy storyline went! A damn sight better than Kira winding up tied to Coma Boy, should the universe go so wrong that he actually managed to get her pregnant. Although, given all that we *now* know about Bajoran pregnancy, this reads as a definite anachronism/noncanon/whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call-it. But it worked at the time. [1]
This story deals with what I like best about the whole Odo/Kira situation: love and courtship. "Unexpected Divedends" isn't primarily about sex, it's about love. All I can say about this story is that if you are a fan of O/K, this is a must-read. To those of you who are wondering if this pairing would work out, this is definitly a must-read! Just read it.. you'll know what I mean... [2]
