The UBC Anime Club is an anime club at the University of British Columbia's main campus in Vancouver, Canada.

The club's official description reads:

The UBC Anime Club is a student organization under the Alma Mater Society at the University of British Columbia. As members of this wonderful student club, we gather to share our common interest and passion for Japanese animation, better known as “Anime.” [1]

Activities

Club meetings are held weekly on Fridays and feature a variety of activities, such as anime showings, artist meetups and spotlightingt, improv, and outings to local events and festivals. Larger club socials take place throughout the year and are usually themed around holidays, i.e. Valentine's Day or Halloween.

Lending Library

Paying members are able to access a large lending library of anime, manga, and light novels, which are available to borrow for private home use.

UBC Anime frequently partners with SFU Anime for larger events.
