A Description
From a 1994 flyer:
Hello and welcome to the U.S.S. Atreides! We are the only "official" Starfleet Chapter in the wondrous city of San Francisco. The future's center for the United Federation of Planets, Starfleet and Starfleet Academy!
As her Captain, you have full permission to come aboard! Our chapter enjoys socializing together, participating in community service events, group social activities, such as, picnics, working at & going to Science Fiction/Star Trek Conventions, fund-raising for the community and our chapter, interacting with other clubs, marching in parades and much, much more.
I could go on forever but, I'll be a good little Bajoran.
Our meetings are held every third Saturday of each month at 7 PM, In San Francisco. Our Meetings, Monthly Newsletter and quarterly Fanzine will keep you updated on what were doing as a chapter and on the many worlds of the "Star Trek" universe. The Chapter is a member of "STARFLEET", the International Star Trek Fan Association, with 7000+ members around the world.
So, if you would like to join a diverse group of people, with a positive vision given to us by the late creator of Star Trek, GENE RODDENBERRY fill in the Information below and information will be sent to you.
