This post-TSFS story is touching, but it contains an improbability and a little bit of carelessness. The K/S sex scene takes place at a hot spring on Vulcan that is apparently rarely frequented. Vulcan has very little water, and a hot spring would surely have been taken over by the Vulcan government as a precious resource, or Vulcan healers would have built a spa around it, or some such thing. I also noticed that the description of the sexual act contained no reference to water or any aspect of the hot spring environment. Why write a sex scene in a hot spring if there isn't going to be any use of the hot spring during the sex environment in which their stories take place. Writers should always be aware of the environment in which their stories take place.
