Twitch (originally Justin.tv) is a website that focuses on streaming services, primarily for Let's Play and eSports purposes, although it's popular with the Tabletop RPG crowd as well as occasionally running streams of other types of content. Crunchyroll, for example, often runs anime streams on Twitch. Users can "cheer" the streamer they're viewing with a virtual currency known as bits that can be bought with real-world currency. Cheering functions as a direct donation to the streamer.

Popular games to stream on Twitch include Fortnite, Overwatch, League of Legends and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. In 2018, Twitch reached an agreement with Blizzard Entertainment to be the official streaming partner of the Overwatch League.

Twitch Partners/Affiliates

Much like YouTube, Twitch has programs that allow a streamer to earn portions of the ad revenue generated by their streams. Being a Twitch Partner or Affiliate also allows a user to subscribe to a channel for US$4.99 a month and unlock privileges such as special emoticons, directly benefitting the streamer.
