This community was inspired by crack_van and stargateficrec. The goal is to create a one-stop, centralized rec community for the anime/manga/video game fandoms.
try_this_fic is a yaoi centric rec community. However, all pairings and ratings are welcome.
If you'd like to become a reccer for your fandom, look up your fandom's sign-up sheet HERE , the Try This Fic Volunteer Queue or the latest post requesting reccers, and volunteer.
Each volunteer will rec for their chosen fandom for a full month. We ask that you rec at least one story a week, and that you try to keep crossovers to about one-third of your recs. Every weekend is a "Picture Show Weekend," which means you may recommend up to four fanvids a weekend between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday (your local time, to keep things easy).
