Tristes Tropiques series by Martha. Really good fic from The Sentinel back in the late ’90s. Really loooong stories. Like, 145K took me the whole weekend long. Not a romance, but in my opinion the relationship is depicted as being on the borderline of romance with the same deep intimacy as in the show.[1]
