Transfigurations is a Professionals slash story written by przed. It was inspired by Suzan Lovett's Leather and Lace drawing. The story was written for discoveredinalj's Halloween challenge.
In her notes, przed explained: "It's the expression on Doyle's face, on both their faces really, that's haunted me since I got hold of this illo."

"At last! A story to go with the illustration! *g* I really liked how you used the expression on Doyle's face in the illustration and fit it in with the story. And how Bodie taking a chance, being vulnerable, banished that expression. That's lovely."[1]
