Summary:
Klaus is a hero of war who has trouble dealing with the memories his service has left. Caroline lives in the apartment below his, wondering where all the shouting is coming from, and why. Will the little blonde be the answer to stopping all the nightmares of the former soldier? AU/AH.

I usually don’t go for many AU/AH fanfics… I feel that in general, they don’t maintain the character’s characteristics or personalities. HOWEVER, this story was INCREDIBLE. OMG, it was absolutely amazing! I love it when writers take their time to develop an interesting story line and build character development, relationships, etc. It just makes it so much more satisfying when they actually end up together. I STRONGLY recommend this Klaroline fanfiction to anyone. You won’t regret it![2]
OMG! I was entranced by this story, and I just kept reading, and reading...and reading. I loved the way you portrayed Klaus as broken, like in the actual show so that his character was realistic, and I like how Caroline still maintained the light that she holds about her. It was certainly unexpected to have Elijia come back, and it was nice having Kol appear along with Katerina and Bonnie :) I also liked your theme on why people should keep living their life. This story was perfectly written, I couldn't ask for more. :) It would mean the world to me if you gave me some writing tips as a reply when you write the sequel. Waiting anxiously, but of course a good story takes time :)[3]
I LOVED THIS FIC! YOU ARE AN AMAZING WRITER! I don't even know what to say honestly...it was just SO SO SO good! Caroline, Klaus, even Elena who I normally hate, Damon, Rebekah, Matt, Elijah, Tyler who I normally hate as well but in this fic I didn't even though he fucked up, I loved them all. Stefan...my poor Stefan, I cried, and I do not normally cry...I really wanted to read the letter he wrote for Caroline, or at least a bit of the letter. I do understand why you did it, but I was still devastated. But the way you made him an angel, the whole limbo thing...I loved it, great job! Carter...I felt the same about him, just a cute kid...I felt really sorry for him. Mabekah, Klaroline and hopefully in the sequel Kennett and Kalijah. I'm really looking forward to read it! Once again wonderful fic and thank you so much for writing it![4]
