To Live is to Dream is a Pokémon fanquest set in the Sinnoh region. Players play as an original Pokémon trainer. It is one of the most popular quests on SpaceBattles.
The quest went on a hiatus starting in September 2022, but returned in April 2024. After the hiatus ended, the quest blew up in popularity, often generating dozens of pages of discussion in a week. Ambit considered the quest her niche pet quest, and expressed surprise that the quest became so popular. The term "niche pet quest" has since become a meme in the community.
Summary
Most kids dream of becoming the Champion of their region's Pokemon League, winning Master Rank Pokemon contests, or going on all sorts of adventures alongside Pokemon of their very own. But you?
