ToApril is an annual writing/drawing challenge hosted by the Trials of Apollo Discord server. It is intended to generate fancontent for everything relating to the Trials of Apollo book series. Users can submit prompts when prompt submission opens in March, while the official event takes place during the month of April.[1]
The event has two rules that users must adhere to:
- No NSFW
- The fancontent has to be strictly related to Trials of Apollo.[2]
Those participating in the challenge can tag the ToApril Tumblr account for their works to be reblogged. Additionally, fic writers may choose to upload their fics to the Ao3 collection created for the specific year. In some years, even though the challenge may be over, the fic collection will be open until May 14 to allow those who may have missed a few days to catch up and upload their work.
In the past, the challenge has been hosted by the various mods of the Trials of Apollo Discord. Fero (andsotheravenlives/Ferodactyl) usually oversees the whole prompt creation and submission process.
