Canon

When a newborn baby laughs for the first time, that laugh travels out into the world, and those that make their way to Neverland turn into a Never fairy. Once there they choose a talent that resides in them: tinker, animal, light, garden, water, fast-flying, etc.

Fans quickly fell in love with the new characters, especially Tinker Bell's best friends: Rosetta, Fawn, Silvermist, and Iridessa. Vidia, Tinker Bell's frenemy, was also well liked and became quite popular with the fans of the series.

Some fans have created We The Pixies, a work-in-progress rewrite of the Pixie Hollow online game that originally operated between 2008 and 2013.

  • Is the fairy queen a war criminal? Surprisingly, kind of., Archived version by iusedtobeafangirl ("TL;DR; The fairy queen from the Tinker Bell franchise has been an intense source of debate for years, which is in part because she’s technically a war criminal. I promise this makes a little more sense in context, but I don't even know how to begin explaining it. I was going to start by summarizing the original Disney Fairies trilogy, but even that is kind of difficult because these books are just so goddamn weird, war crimes notwithstanding. I guess it’s best to just start at the beginning.") (2020)
