Reactions and Reviews

This story is available on-line, but it's so nice to have it in 'zine format, with a nice plastic cover to protect it. As with the other two 'zines from Unicorn Press featuring Agt Spooky's work I feel it's well worth the cost to have her stories, which I end up reading again and again anyway, in such a convenient format. I have been a fan of Barbara Nice-Miller's (aka Agt Spooky) since I discovered her at K9's Kennel. I was delighted to recently find out her stories were in a handy-dandy 'zine format! If you can't get the 'zines fast enough, go ahead and read them off the 'net. You'll be more than happy to read 'em again when you get your 'zine! She writes those time-less kind of stories that can be read and re-read many times over and still be just as wonderful the fifth time as they were the first. Just go for it and buy all three of the 'zines offered! All are truly wonderful stories. [1]

I love stories that show how unbreakable the bond is between Jim and Blair. I love well-done hurt/comfort. And so, I love Time Marches On by Barbara Nice-Miller. While trying to save his Sentinel, Blair is critically head injured and spends two years in a coma. Jim waits by his side. In addition to having wonderful emotional development, this story also has a cool structure, interweaving events from past and present. [2]

Oh My GOD!! I saved what I consider the Best for last! How can I put how I feel about this story without writing a huge page? I have to start by pointing out the extremely excellent writing. I was quickly drawn into the story and it never let me go till the end. Even the non canon characters came alive to me and became dear. The emotions are HUGE and I went through two boxes of tissues. I highly suggest NOT reading the warnings at the top of the link page and leaving yourself to experience the emotions as they pour into you. This story does contain the death of a major character, and some other possibly ‘triggery’ situations. My suggestion, just read on, this story is SOO worth it. Just keep tissues nearby! This story is a testament to true friendship and pure love so save this on a thumb drive forever! [3]
