Reactions and Reviews
PWP, fun, in character for both.[1]
I really like the way Zen (and Blake and Avon's different relationships with Zen) is/are written in this story. It's interesting - and relevant to the plot. This is the first one of the first time stories in the zine where I find the move from regular Blake to now-we-sex Blake a bit implausible (it feels more like the action of a man already in a comfortable relationship), but I really like the fake-dubcon sex (mmm) in this one, so I'm willing to forgo *(my own sense of) reality to get there. I do wonder how erogenous anyone's hands can be, though, and whether Blake has been pleasuring himself on the flight deck all this time and nobody noticed...[2]
Playful and fun, with just enough weight and depth (mostly courtesy of Zen) to feel like bona fide Blake's 7. Blake stops Avon speaking, convinced that he is going to talk them out of sex, which unfortunately means they end up in situation that Blake finds genuinely distressing.[3]
