Summary

When Malcolm Barrett of the NID seeks to enlist the aid of General Hammond and the SGC to test a 'miracle drug' that can free Goa'uld-blended hosts from their enslavement, everyone -- including SG-1 and Dr. Janet Fraiser -- are skeptical. But when it seems like the drug might work and the only way to prove its worth is with a live subject, SG-1 is given the assignment. Colonel Jack O'Neill, Major Samantha Carter, Teal'c, Jonas Quinn and Dr. Janet Fraiser, along with the help of their old friend and ally Bra'tac, embarck on a perilous mission to find a Goa'uld on which to test the drug and perhaps find the cure-all so desperately sought.
