Apocalyptic Press is a fanzine publisher run by several friends who call themselves the Sam and Jack Horsewomen" (SJHW), also SJ Horsewomen.
The press began publishing gen Stargate SG1 fanzines starting in 2002.
In 2002, they also began offering an online web-zine Wild Horses.
In addition to the web-zines, the press also published print zines which can be found here.
The SJHW "Mission Statement":
We, the SJ Horsewomen, are a sincere, passionate, and vocal group dedicated to the idea that The Powers That Be have planned and created their show, their characters and characterizations for a reason, and should be allowed, without threats or insults from the fandom, to carry out that vision. We believe that, while opinions may differ, we all ultimately have our right to them, and should expect to have them respected. [1]
