It makes the most of Sam’s culture shock as he comes face-to-face with scenarios and people he knows in an environment that’s distorted just enough to make his hometown foreign and alien. Coupled with some nicely timed and well-chosen clips of Hunt’s team doing what they do best (violent shouting, mainly), the result is a great homage to the strange world where Sam finds himself trapped.
