The X-Philes Finis Romantics Society Literary Vault is the fanfic archive for The X-Philes Finis Romantics Society.
Welcome weary travelers of the internet to the X-Philes Finis Romantics Society Literary Vault for fan fiction. Here at the XPFRS we rally for the Mulder/Scully relationship to take the romantic turn 'round the end of the series, but that doesn't mean our fan fiction should reflect that. That would take all the fun out of it, you think? Anyway...there are a couple of archives that branch from this vault. There is the main archive that contains the favorite stories of the archivists and past featured fan fics. There is the members work/viewers choice where you can submit YOUR stories. See our guidelines for details on how to do so. And now we have our own set of editors if you'd like to have your story edited. And then there's also our specialty archive--the oncology ward, which centers on Scully Cancer stories. And then we have a smaller section dedicated to fan fic challenges. And last, but certainly not least, the section dedicated to fan fiction authors. The XPFRS is proud to be home to the great talents of Meredith, and Joyce McKibben. The X-Philes Finis Romantics Society Literary Vault began as a small two story bookmark for my favorite stories to the beast-in-training it is today, growing along with my obsession. It consists of three main archives, links, and the homepages to three high-quality and high caliber authors (some of my favorites too).The "Main Archive" is home to a selection of my favorite stories. Though the Vault is an extension of my 'shipper page, the stories don't necessarily reflect that attitude. Most stories are romance stories, though loaded with angst, but there are parodies, humor stories, action/adventure, friendship stories--a virtual cornucopia (though it might seem like a low harvest--I am picky).
The "Members Work/Viewers Choice" page is an archive of stories and poems sent in by those who visit The X-Philes Finis Romantics Society and recommendations of their favorite stories (though so far there's only one recommendation--I would love more).
The last major archive is "The Oncology Ward" fan fic archive. During the long summer cancer stories popped up everywhere and so the Oncology Ward was born. The stories are categorized into Angst, Angst/Romance, Romance, and Other, since most stories fell into the first 3 categories. There are cure stories, death stories, conspiracy stories; even humor stories. But only the creator can tell us what *really* happened, though maybe not as well as some of the stories here.
Also included features in the vault are links to other fan fic sites--archives and informational sites, authors pages, and a featured fan fiction--usually a story fresh to the mailing list. [2]
