Issue 8
Unistar 8 (1978) 8 1/2 x 11, 8 pages. Contemporary news about Star Trek including a two-page letter from Gene Roddenberry explaining the tortured history of the Star Trek revival and how plans were all but cancelled until Star Wars was released and became a monster hit. There is also a one-page follow-up letter from Roddenberry announcing the motion picture and the reuniting of the entire cast. There is also other Star trek news and artwork, a review of Star Wars and more.
