Reactions and Reviews
1989
I really enjoyed this story — very gentle, very sweet. The idea of the six-happinesses was delightful and very nicely handled, and the dialogue was very in character. I especially liked the last line, "I'm about to give you a seventh happiness." It ended the story on just the right note. [1]
I thought the concept of the Six Happinesses was interesting and unique, as was Spock's breathing problem. (It's always refreshing when Kirk or Spock is depicted as not being perfect.) Otherwise, there wasn't much to this story, though what was there was competently written. [2]
