The Seven Deadly Virtuals is a Blake's 7 story by Penny Dreadful. It was written in 2000 for the Freedom City Labor Day Party, the theme of which was the 'Seven Deadly Virtues - any or all of them', and later published in January 2001 in Forbidden Star #3.
Tavia expressed desire to publish the story in her zine TTBA, but Penny Dreadful already agreed to have it published in Forbidden Star by that moment and so another story written by her, The Killer of Dole Nu Lin, was published there instead.
This story won Fan Q Awards 2002 in the slash category for Blake's 7 fandom.
Summary

Reactions and Reviews
The zine <...> closes with "The Seven Deadly Virtuals," by Penny Dreadful, a side-splitting send-up of fans and cons. It takes place in a future with life size, full-function, dolls available in the character of your choice. [2]
I'd kind of intended not to repeat the same authors in my recs this month, but a lot of the stories it's crossed my mind to rec have already been done, and, while Penny's output isn't very high, it's uniformly brilliant, and I really don't think her stuff has been pimped on here often enough.
In a way, recommending this story almost feels like cheating, because in a sense it's almost not a B7 fic at all. It's more of a meta... thing... that, uh... You know what? I can't even really describe it. Which is, well, why it must simply be read. That, of course, and the fact that it's well-written, creative, clever, wonderfully funny, and actually a very good piece of science fiction. [3]
And then there's 'The Seven Deadly Virtuals', another contribution from Penny Dreadful. Penny posted a draft of the story for the Labor Day theme on Freedom City; I solicited it for ttba and considered assassination of a certain UK zine editor when I found out that I'd been pipped to the post. (Cordial relations were later restored when Penny sent me a story that I liked just as much!) This must count as one of the most original B7 stories ever: funny, quirky and unforgettable. [4]
