1st Round Award Winner Icons by Charmax
"The Reverie Video Awards commenced its first round in May of 2006.
It came about upon discussion between the two administrators of the vidding community Reverie - Katie and Aimee. There were so many talented members plugging their videos on the board, we figured why not give them an award for their efforts? The peer voting (rather than with select judges) was chosen because we feel the community itself should vote for their favorites.
Every month, active members who plug their videos (up to 2 per vidder) are automatically entered into that month's round. They are then divided up into 9 or 10 categories. These may vary from round to round, categories can be combined; added; or taken away depending on the number of submissions.[1]
