The Pedro Pascal edit is the fandom name given to a viral TikTok thirst edit by the user dvcree, featuring Pedro Pascal as Agent Whiskey in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The edit is part of a wider trend of TikTok edits featuring Pascal, and due to its popularity, inspired its own wave of TikToks using the same sound.

The edit begins with a clip of Pascal as Agent Whiskey, telling Halle Berry’s Ginger Ale, “How would you like to ride home on a real cowboy? I’ve got a six-pack of cold ones on ice, and my roomies are out all night so you can scream my name as loud as you need to, sugar.” It then smash cuts through a number of short (<1 second) clips of Agent Whiskey set to Shaggy's "Hey Sexy Lady", with the collection of clips repeated twice.

Fan Reactions and Spread

After it was first posted on 21 January 2023, the edit immediately gained popularity among TikTok users, and as of January 2024, the edit has amassed 45.2 million views, 4.7 million likes, 59.3k comments and 1.5 million saves.

The TikTok's top comment, which has received 292.2k likes (as of January 2024), notes its notoriety:

I love how the entire fandom has just collectively agreed that this is THE official Pedro Pascal edit

– @obsessed._.artist, 27 January 2023

The edit inspired a number of its own fanworks. For example, one TikTok by user vasternous recreated the edit frame–for–frame in a hand–drawn animation, receiving over 2.6 million views and 900,000 likes.

Many TikToks celebrated the edit's fame: "an entire generation of girls could not have seen the same edit", one slideshow is captioned. The video was also memed as other users edited the video into unusual places, such as as a user's desktop background, or being revealed inside a watermelon.

The audio has since become synonymous with Pedro Pascal, as well as thirst edits in general, and dvcree's original TikTok sound has more than 27,000 posts.
