The Official Colleen Doran & A Distant Soil Fan Club members were to receive a quarterly newsletter, a membership card, a postcard, an original 8x10 signed art print by Colleen Doran and discounts on swag.
The fan club proposed a fanzine called "Crystal Encounters." It was to have fiction, poetry, and artwork. In is unknown if this zine got off the ground. The submission request said: "...a fanzine devoted to ADS. Crossover, fantasy, historical works will also be considered. Slash & Adult material will be accepted as long as it is tastefully done. The zine will also contain special selections of Ms. Doran's art. Publication is slated for MediaWest 1992."
