Reactions and Reviews
1993
Lovely story, poetic, very expressive visually. Kirk and Spock away together on diplomatic mission. Their getting closer spurs Kirk to finally speak of his fantasies. Sweet and tentative moves, charming words to each other. Devoted friendship leads to admission of wanting more. An interesting characterization, Kirk being rather round-about, Spock very direct. Eventually they understand and admit their love. Very, very nice... [1]
2003
This is just a pleasant short little story with no sex, which is refreshing. I don't think in real life that two men declare their love for each other and then jump in bed immediately thereafter for their first sex. There are some nice bits of description in this story here and there. Actually, this was the first story I read in the zine. Now that I have read the whole zine I realize there is not a lot of explicit sex in the entire zine. And that is not a criticism, but this is not a zine for someone looking for details and extended sexual acts. This zine is more for a romantic. [2]
2006
On a frustrating diplomatic mission, Kirk finds himself drifting off into daydreams of Spock, and forces a discussion of their relationship, promising honesty. Fade out on their first time together.[3]
