I *really* like this particular author. She's got a tremendous gift for writing from very unusual POVs. Most of her stories are just short character pieces, but I actually tend to prefer those to longer, plot-based stuff, anyway. This one's a piece of Scorpius angst that really makes me feel sorry for the guy. Takes place sometime in the 3rd season, with spoilers up through at least "Die Me Dichotomy" (the last ep. of the 2nd season).[1]
