Following McCoy's brush with death from Xenopolythemia, Spock approaches him in an attempt to express his love for the doctor. Reactions and Reviews
THE HEART OF THE BEAST is my second favorite story in the zine. It begins with log entries from each Kirk, Spock, and McCoy and moves into Spock revealing to Kirk that almost losing McCoy to the Vians has made him realize just how much he cares for the doctor. Kirk tells him that's because he's in love with McCoy. That surprises Spock, but not as much as Kirk making his own revelation that he, himself, loves Spock. The only thing now is to convince McCoy. This is a very warm story, cute in parts, hard in parts, and completely satisfying by the end. This is Dovya at her best... again. [1]
(11 pages) - After the events with the Vians, Spock realizes he is in love with McCoy, Kirk realizes he is in love with Spock; since all also love each other, they join for their first night... another, longer, delightful first-time trio sex story! [2]
