Reactions and Reviews
I can recommend THE GUARDIAN, a monthly that runs about 20 pages, and has a mix of articles on both old and new Trek. It usually contains an episode review, book review, trivia quiz, good artwork and three or four articles on a variety of subjects—technical inconsistencies within the series and films, character studies, and some oddball topics like the increase of foul language in Trek, the fate of Kirk's women, our heroes' most embarrassing moments. THE GUARDIAN has a sense of humor and I've found it enjoyable reading. The only caution I'll add is that it may be a bit, er, mundane for long-time fans. [1]
