Rygel and Stark go down to a planet looking for food, and instead find a Scarren labor camp full of Sebacean prisoners. The two of them set about engineering a prison break (with a little help from Aeryn and Crais), and later discover something interesting about the identity of one of the prisoners. I had a few minor problems with this, actually, including one small plot hole (involving a small *literal* hole that seems to grow inexplicably when the plot suddenly needs normal-sized people to be able to fit through it), and the fact that Rygel, IMO, comes across as a little too altruistic to feel entirely in-character. But, overall, it's an enjoyable story, and it's great to see these two often-overlooked characters carrying the action for once. Apparently this is actually a sequel to an earlier story I hadn't read, but it stands quite nicely on its own. Contains spoilers through the 3rd season's "Infinite Possibilities Pt. 2." [1]
