"The Girl in the Hospital Bed "[1] is a short story written by queen_ypolita for MmeBahorel for Yuletide 2010.
Told from the perspective of Helen, one of the characters of The Friendly Young Ladies it features both Helen and Leo in three scenes which show the progression of their relationship from first meeting in hospital, to becoming lovers, to deciding to move to the houseboat. The story is set pre-book.
