The Fest for Beatles Fans (formerly known as Beatlefest) is annual festival and convention honoring the lasting legacy of The Beatles. It was founded by Mark Lapidos with the blessing on former Beatle, John Lennon.
1974
The first fest was held the weekend of September 14-15 at the Commodore Hotel in New York City. There were 8,000 attendees.

Many notable guests have appeared at the fest over the years including Pete Best, Cynthia Lennon, May Pang, Billy Preston, Micky Dolenz, Astrid Kirchherr, Klaus Voormann, Victor Spinetti, Chad and Jeremy, Peter Asher, Frida Kelly, Sid Bernstein
