The Endless Dark Knight was a Batman website which seems to have been created in 1996. By November of the same year, it was taken down for potential copyright infringement. The site owner was hopeful that it could be revived, but that does not appear to have happened. It appears to have once hosted fanfiction and may have been a webzine.
Closure
Dear Loyal Readers:The Endless Dark Knight site is now off-line. The Site Editor has been asked by DC Comics to cease our activities due to possible copyright infringement. Over the next few weeks, we will be contacting DC staff to see if there is some compromise that we can reach that might allow us to continue. I hope to be able to have a final decision posted to this page within the next 3-4 weeks.
We have been extremely excited about the support for this site and your enthusiasm toward what we have been trying to accomplish; for this I would like to thank each of you!
If you would like to support this site, I will ask you not to write DC Comics and complain. They have been polite and up front through this situation. I would like to support them in any way I can. Instead, please write me at [email protected] and share any thoughts you have on how we can adapt the site to keep it going. I will also keep this list to alert readers when we are back up and running.
