In "Baby Never Say Goodbye," V determines to break up with C and Father and Pascal have talk with him about it. "Paternity" is a vignette in which V considers his newest daughter. "Happiness is a Warm Kitten" is a vignette in which one of V and C's children temporarily loses her kitten. "An Alternate Future" tells of Nancy's meeting with V, then of V/C chatting with tunnel-dwellers and later deciding on how to live their happy life together.
