The first thing you notice is the book is a loose-leaf notebook. A big advantage over conventionally bound books.if you want to remove a page for research. A brief history of Alpha is included along with a thorough timeline noting major events before and after leaving Earth orbit. There are complete diagrams of all of Alpha, from layout of external structures to detailed views of all levels. Some of the more important sets are diagramed. The hardware illustrated is the commlook, hand laser and laser canon. Both first and second year duty uniforms and the space suit are included. Excellent profiles of all the regular characters come equipped with photos of each. Finally, there is a great episode guide with synopses for both first and second season. Beautiful black and white photos are scattered through out the notebook. This is a great addition to any collection, a must for Space) 1999 fans!
