Tezuka/Fuji, sometimes known to the Western fandom as Perfect Pair, is the ship between Tezuka Kunimitsu and Fuji Syusuke, two middle school tennis players on the protagonist team Seigaku from Prince of Tennis. It is one of the most prominent ships in both Japanese and Western fandom.

Tezuka and Fuji are teammates of three years in the protagonist team Seigaku.
The anime-original episodes that focus on the match and memories between Tezuka and Fuji are full of romantic motifs, such as cherry blossoms and sharing an umbrella under the snow[1].
Character Songs
There are two Prince of Tennis character songs that are duets sung by Tezuka and Fuji; the lyrics of these two songs are specifically written for the relationships between the two characters:
- ここで僕らは出会ってしまった (2008, translation of lyrics)[2]
- たとえば今 (2017)[3]
In particular, the first duet, ここで僕らは出会ってしまった (Koko de Bokura wa Deatte Shimatta), enjoys great popularity among fans. The song hints at a profound relationship between the two, with lyrics such as "We are searching in each other / The thing that will fill our emptiness" (translated by contributors of the Prince of Tennis Wiki)[4]. In the Tenipuri Festa 2016 character song population poll, the duet ranked first among roughly 800 choices. On the official site for the poll, a fan referred to as 名古屋コーチンさん is cited, stating that this is a song where the meaning of the lyrics will change for the fan after events that occur in the New Prince of Tennis series[5].
Other
In the official fan disc White heat Remix, Tezuka said "Ich liebe dich" ("I love you" in German) in a conversation with Fuji, a moment that is often referenced in fan works about them[6]. A translation of the conversation by UmiHoshi on DeviantArt is available[7].
